Happy holidays!!

Feliz Navidad...is that how you spell it!? Lol. Anyways Merry Christmas to all of you wonderful people! I'm very excited for this holiday because I get to host it at Mi casa! We bought a house back in April so this will be our 1st Christmas here. 😊 This year has been eventful! We bought our home in April. In June our rambunctious Litto Becks turned 1. Cody and I celebrated 2 years of marriage as well as Cody's 29th birthday in August. **Proud Wife Moment** in November my husband became Director of Business Evaluations at Banner.** This guy is so amazing...he not only sets high goals but he accomplishes them. He's brilliant and works his tail off to Check those goals off his list. He's my inspiration. My lover. My biggest fan. And my favorite gift in the history of ever! Well..that was totally off topic here 😜 anyways... God has definitely been good to us this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us as well as My church family. God bless!

My baby is ONE!!!

Ok Beckett is almost a year and a half so this post is a tad late! But, I just received the pictures from Becks 1st Birthday party and they were too cute I have to show you all! We decided to go with a Curious George/ circus themed party. It was so much fun putting this together and seeing the end results look fantastic-if I do say so myself! ;) But the good Lord knows  I would not have been able to do this on my own so I want to give a HUGE thanks to my dear friend Adrienne for helping me to get organized, set up AND capture these precious moments. Also, thanks to Keri Haywood and her parents for allowing us to have the party at their house. And of course Thanks to everyone that went for loving Beckett and spoiling him rotten with SO many stinkin' presents!! Lol. But seriously..we are so blessed to have such amazing, helpful, and giving people in our lives.

The bowtie and suspenders are from the sweet n sassy shoppe off Etsy

Sis McLaughlin made this fun cake.

He got so many toys we decided to re-gift some for Christmas! It's a parenting Hack ;)

All gone...

Beckett's cute curls are all gone...for now. I Will let his hair grow out again just for all those special people who kept telling me to get it cut...apparently only girls can have cute curls (to which I say "hogwash"lol ). It took me a week to get used to seeing him with very short hair. He instantly went from looking like my adorable baby to a big boy!! It was a sad moment but I pulled thru with no tears! He did very good btw. He didn't fuss or cry..nothing. He just sat in his sweet little car thoroughly enjoying his lollipop!
Hmm...I'm thinking one hair cut a year is enough! Juuuust kidding y'all...

Not too sure bout this.....
He's a a cool as a cucumber!

All done :)

See, doesn't he instantly look like a toddler???

Vegas!!

So about a couple months ago our good friends, the Aguirres, invited us to go to Vegas with them. We were due for a vacation so we readily agreed! We left on a Thursday after dropping Beckett off with his 2nd set of parents, the Garcia's lol. We stayed at some REALLLLY nice resort (I forgot the name). The Aguirres room had this huge hot tub and each of our rooms had a lil kitchen and living room. I wish we were there longer than two nights! Anyway, the first night me and Cody walked to Las Vegas blvd. It was so sweet getting to spend quality time with my sugar booger!
First on our list was my Favorite chef, Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, The Burgr. We waited like 2 stinkin hours for this place!

Long story short...$100 later and to my utter disappointment, this place was overrated and NOT very good. Sorry Gordon, that's my review. The burgers were small and dry. But besides that experience we all had a grand time! I'm looking forward to our next married couples vacay with our friends, the Uribe's, but that's another story for another time. :)
The light/fountain show was pretty sweet.
They're so cute!
I would say we are cuter but my husband has his god awful mint green pants on. Lol!
Marissa is soooo sweet...

Birthday pics!

This post is about two months late but hey, who's counting! My Litto Becks turned one year old!! It was so much work and fun planning his party but he is more than worth it! He started walking good around 11 months and is literally NONSTOP until it's time for "night night". The week of his birthday we did a photo shoot for him and we have the cutest pics! His hair cracks me up in the first few pics because I hadn't combed it yet. He looks like a professor with that wild hair lol.

Here my handsome boy is playing "Peek-a-boo!"...or as my nephew says "pookieboo!"

Eating his cupcake nonchalantly.

That pose tho!!!He is such a stud. Like father, like son for sure! I have such good looking men ;) Ya know, I can say a hundred good things about my baby, but most importantly we are so blessed to have such a handsome and Healthy baby boy. Cody and I couldn't be more pleased.
Everyday I pray that God will help us be the parents that he deserves.

Oh btw! His custom made suspenders and bow tie set is from the Sweet n' Sassy shop of Etsy or if you have Instagram look her up @sweetnsassy . She has the cutest boy and girl accessories and is often having great deals. She is a Pentecostal mamma from Oklahoma! Look up her stuff And start shoppin' :)

Tuscon

This past week was the annual youth Conquerors Conference. My Pastor preached Friday night and TORE-IT-UUUP!! Ok so I actually didn't get to hear the whole service because I was walking around trying to put my very fussy baby to sleep. Well, half ways through the preaching I discovered the churches nursery which had rocking chairs and a big speaker so you could hear the preaching! Moms from Valley Pentecostal Church would think this was the most beautiful thing ever! Listen to preaching during church without disrupting the service because of a crying baby?? YES please!! But even in the nursery you could just feel the power of God moving and the ANNOINTING on my Man of God. "From Promise to Insignificance" was the title. It was one of those Life-Changing services where you can't help but to weep in His presence. Unfortunately, not every young person felt that calling to a higher place of dedication and consecration to Gods will. It was pretty disappointing to see so many young people there with their GQ and Vogue looks. Whole youth groups that looked like new converts who don't know better..or like they were going to the clubs after. No Joke. This isn't even about being "judgmental". Im just calling it the way it was. I am more thankful NOW than ever before for Pastor Garrett and his uncompromising ways. It is evident that he LOVES this One God doctrine and holiness. You can tell he has instilled in our youth group a love for both as well. I was so proud of my youth group for looking their best for God and not trying to just look "cool", and the young men and ladies weeping at the alters.

*ok DEEP BREATH…EXHALE* onto lighter news…=)
Friday night my husband booked a room via Priceline. You don't always know what you end up getting when you do it that way so we were pleasantly surprised to find out we were staying at Loews Vantana Canyon Resort. It was beautiful! The front desk guy even upgraded our room to the Deluxe room with a city view for FREE! Of course I took pics ;)

We got a beautiful view of the city. Ok it was beautiful at Night..
This was the BIGGEST tub I have ever seen!

They had a little hiking trail to this waterfall.

Cody and his Coffee….

a beautiful selfie huh??

Time flies when your having fun...

Well, I guess this holiday season is officially over! It was so special this year since we got to celebrate with our newest family addition, Beckett. We took him to see Christmas lights although I think Cody and I enjoyed them more than he did!  I am so thankful for the special times during the holiday seasons spent with friends and family. It truly is the most Wonderful time of the year!!! Christmas Day my family came over for an early lunch/dinner. Cody (a Man that can bake??! How did I get so lucky??) made his delicious homeade pumpkin and banana cream pies, we had homeade cookies, apple pies…way too many goodies but what is a Christmas dinner without all these sugary delights?? I should have taken pics of all the food and sweets…Oh well!
Merry Christmas from my cute lil fam
Love this boy!

 Ha! Lawrence's big yawn..

Opening his gifts from Tia Adrienne & Uncle Larwence
Adrienne& Lawrence thinks Becks looks like Charlie brown so thats what he got for Christmas. Lol
