Tuscon

This past week was the annual youth Conquerors Conference. My Pastor preached Friday night and TORE-IT-UUUP!! Ok so I actually didn't get to hear the whole service because I was walking around trying to put my very fussy baby to sleep. Well, half ways through the preaching I discovered the churches nursery which had rocking chairs and a big speaker so you could hear the preaching! Moms from Valley Pentecostal Church would think this was the most beautiful thing ever! Listen to preaching during church without disrupting the service because of a crying baby?? YES please!! But even in the nursery you could just feel the power of God moving and the ANNOINTING on my Man of God. "From Promise to Insignificance" was the title. It was one of those Life-Changing services where you can't help but to weep in His presence. Unfortunately, not every young person felt that calling to a higher place of dedication and consecration to Gods will. It was pretty disappointing to see so many young people there with their GQ and Vogue looks. Whole youth groups that looked like new converts who don't know better..or like they were going to the clubs after. No Joke. This isn't even about being "judgmental". Im just calling it the way it was. I am more thankful NOW than ever before for Pastor Garrett and his uncompromising ways. It is evident that he LOVES this One God doctrine and holiness. You can tell he has instilled in our youth group a love for both as well. I was so proud of my youth group for looking their best for God and not trying to just look "cool", and the young men and ladies weeping at the alters.

*ok DEEP BREATH…EXHALE* onto lighter news…=)
Friday night my husband booked a room via Priceline. You don't always know what you end up getting when you do it that way so we were pleasantly surprised to find out we were staying at Loews Vantana Canyon Resort. It was beautiful! The front desk guy even upgraded our room to the Deluxe room with a city view for FREE! Of course I took pics ;)

We got a beautiful view of the city. Ok it was beautiful at Night..
This was the BIGGEST tub I have ever seen!

They had a little hiking trail to this waterfall.

Time flies when your having fun...

Well, I guess this holiday season is officially over! It was so special this year since we got to celebrate with our newest family addition, Beckett. We took him to see Christmas lights although I think Cody and I enjoyed them more than he did!  I am so thankful for the special times during the holiday seasons spent with friends and family. It truly is the most Wonderful time of the year!!! Christmas Day my family came over for an early lunch/dinner. Cody (a Man that can bake??! How did I get so lucky??) made his delicious homeade pumpkin and banana cream pies, we had homeade cookies, apple pies…way too many goodies but what is a Christmas dinner without all these sugary delights?? I should have taken pics of all the food and sweets…Oh well!
Merry Christmas from my cute lil fam
Love this boy!
