6 months old!

Today my little baby Becks turned 6 months old! In honor of his half birthday Beckett decided to wake me up AT LEAST 4 TIMES during the night. Apparently, he was ready to party all night. This morning Cody asked me "So how did he do last night?" Well, I'm glad one of us can sleep through screaming babies!!! Lol! It's a good thing they're both cute… My litto Becks is the most precious and adorable baby EVER. Seriously. It's not even about being biased, just ask anyone! Especially all 30 of his "Aunts". ;) 

Beckett currently has 2 little teeth, weighs 15 pounds, and is almost crawling. We started giving him some baby food at 5 months and he loves whatever I give him. And he Will let me know when I'm feeding him too slowly!!! Last night I made banana puree for him and he was the happiest boy! He just had his shots last week and thankfully is meeting all of his 6 month milestones. I thank God for my healthy little boy.

at 5 months

I didn't think my pregnancy was ever going to end and now he's 6 months old! It's amazing how fast time has flown!! I sure do love my boy =) and I love watching his dad interact with him. If you knew Cody back then you would know he was always like "I don't want any kids…blahblahblah" but he is SO SO good with Beckett. It's the cutest thing. Actually…it is more like a miracle!

I figured out how to upload pictures! Here are just a few of our trip to Oregon. I have no idea where our other pictures went. Trust me, I'm extremely bummed about that!!!!! Guess Cody will have to take me back so I can take pictures again ;) sounds like a great idea to me!

Honeymoon

Saturday morning we flew out to San Francisco and spent a couple of days there. It is one of THE coolest cities and I definitely wished we had spent more time there! Our hotel was GORGEOUS and it was in downtown SF so everything was pretty much within walking distance. It was funny, Cody and I were walking around late one night and unbeknown to us we walked one block too far to the GHETTO part of San Fran. There were bums laying around, these two cars pulled up to each other, rolled down their windows and started yelling at each other, and then this crazy guy who must have been on drugs started walking around yelling "BLUE GHOSTS! PURPLE GHOSTS! GREEN GHOSTS!!!!" OK so Now its funny but I was pretty sure Cody and I were going to get shot that night! Good times, I tell ya…. Tuesday we started our road trip to Eureka, California. For some reason I wanted to drive but the roads were so windy I got very nervous and pulled over after 2 curves in the road. Pssh forget that! Cody drove us safely to  Eureka which happened to be a very tiny and boring lil town..seriously. Everything closed at like, 4p.m.. I was so excited to find a Target store that didn't close until 10. Ya, that's how boring the town was. I will give Eureka some credit though because the houses were adorable and it was a cute lil town. Again I tried driving on our way to Portland, Oregon. I don't know why but my driving scares Cody so while I tried to pass this SLOWmobile Cody closed his eyes. Long story short…Cody opens his eyes and the people in the car I was trying to pass was pulled off on the side of the road and *might* have been flipping us off and throwing things at us. In the end we made it to Oregon safe and in one piece. That is all that matters right???? =) Soo, as soon as I figure out how to post pictures up I will be SURE to do that. I am having a difficult time uploading them on Picasa…boo.

Welllll… I think I finally figured out how to do this blogging business.. we shall see though. I'll probably be posting a ton of "throwback" posts since I wanted to start this a year ago but kept forgetting to make a blog, then I would make one and forget the name and password…yadayadayada lol. I hope my family and friends near and far enjoy this lil blog about my culinary efforts (If you have noticed Cody's new waist line my cooking is obviously somewhat Delicioso! Lol.), my ADORABLE baby Becks, and just random things going on in our lives.
